How The ACLU Stole Christmas

Everyone who
Was right in their brain
Liked Christmas a lot....

But the ACLU
Who lived in America
Did not...

The ACLU hated Christmas
Not the holiday season
They all hated Christmas
We all know the reason

Though it could have been they weren't all there in the head
It could be that they hated the colors gold, green and red
But we all know that the real reason, above all
Was they hated Christ and "Merry --mas" was too small

Now that the truth came out and was told
We see how the ACLU"S heart was so cold
How they don't care at all about girls and boys
Who just want Santa to bring them some toys

They don't care what people think, do, or say
Saying Merry Christmas just isn't ok!
They tell us to say happy holiday
or even Merry Dec. 25th day

They thought to themselves " its that time of year
This month is Christmas ITS PRACTICALLY HERE!
What can we do? What can we say
To not have Christmas coming this way

So they thought and they thought and they planned and they planned
And they decided to have a Christmas tree ban
So they called Wal-mart, Target and stores big and small
And said not to have Christmas trees at all

They said lets make them a holiday tree
In fact holiday decorations from A to Z
We do not need a "Christmas decoration"
We'll make the word holiday just as much fun! "

What do they find wrong with Christ?" you ask
Well they will not tell us, they hide under a mask
"We do not find anything wrong with... That day!
We think Jesus was a good man." they will say

Having holiday trees just isn't right
And for that we all should put up a fight
We should tell Wal-mart just what we think
And not put up with the ACLU's big big big stink

Let them say what they wish
I will still have my sweet Christmas day dish
Besides no mater what they do or say
They simply can not keep Christmas away

Christmas is much much much bigger than you or me
Jesus is the reason that day will be!
He came to this earth for me and for you
And yes even for the ACLU

Merry Christmas!

Respect

re·spect·ed, re·spect·ing, re·spects
1. To feel or show deferential regard for; esteem.
2. To avoid violation of or interference with: respect the speed limit.
3. To relate or refer to; concern.
You know, Many people don't like Bush and everyone has his or her own reason. I didn't like many of the things Clinton did, in fact I'm not sure I liked any of the things he did, but I did show respect for him. I may not have agreed with him or even liked him as a person, but I honored his position. I never said hateful, gross, slanderous things about that man. Why? Because we are to respect those in leadership. To many people in my generation don't have a clue what respect is. Most of my peers don't respect there parents, teachers, or even officers. You can't hardly look at blogs without seeing 'bush is gay' and "I hate bush" .

All I hear from people is what they dislike about our government. Whats sad is 'we the people' are the government, its freedom. What we want is someone else to do it for us just the way we want it, when we aren't even willing to do it ourself. If there is something you dislike then do something about it. One thing everyone can do , and should, is vote. I believe if you do not vote then you give up your right to say what you want changed. I bet out of everyone who talks about what they hate in our government, 90% have not done one thing about it. Petition, write a letter, call a political leader, do something! All, most of us do is complain, and most don't even do that respectfully!

I saw a shirt the other day that said "parents for sale CHEAP!" now that boy may not had meant anything by it. The sad thing is that kind of disrespect is tolerated, more so its the norm! I understand if you disagree, and may not even repect the man , Bush, just disagree with honor for his position.

The Tides of change?

Is the Tide Turning in the Abortion Debate? The abortion debate has been at the center of the "culture war" for over 30 years now. The church has seemingly been quieted on the issue for the past few years, perhaps in part because it appeared that this was simply a battle that could not be won. Maybe that is beginning to change. For the first time since the Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court of the United States in 1973 a major study on women's views on the abortion issue has indicated that 51% favor either outlawing or seriously restricting abortions. The study, done by Princeton Survey Research Associates, but commissioned by the pro-abortion Center for the Advancement of Women (CAW), indicates that women are indeed shifting toward the pro-life side.(1) The Center for the Advancement of Women is headed by Faye Wattleton, former head of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Ms. Wattleton called the survey's results "a disturbing step against the pro-choice perspective."(2) In the survey only 41% of the women said that keeping abortion legal was a top priority - down from 49% two years ago. In a list of 12 issues that these women believed should have top priority, keeping abortion legal finished #11 - with only 3%. Only the issue of "more girls in sports" finished lower than abortion. for more info on this and other issues vist www.aclj.org

MILK

Hey guys you need a good laugh? Get this. Ten people from the Washington area have filed a class-action lawsuit against milk suppliers and the stores that sell milk. Why? Because they want the lable to have a warning of the effects of lactose intolerance! The ten people say they have "suffered" from diarrhea, cramps and gas because they consumed milk. Hey I say if you cant drink milk 'cause your body can't digest lactose ( the sugar in milk) that stinks, but why is it the milks fault, or the people that produce the milk?
The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is funding the lawsuit. The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine actually went out to and recruited people to file the suit. One of the ten people plaintiffs is seven years old. Now thats teaching them well at a young age! That kid is still at the age when having gas is funny not somthing you file a lawsuit over, come on! I understand being lactose intolerance isn't fun but niether are any other health complications. Fileing a suit isn't going to help you digest milk so why do it. These people may not have thought of this but I have an idea DON'T DRINK THE MILK!!! Hey milk has done my body good! haha!
I just want to know whats next is someone one going to file a suit against lawnmower suppliers, for the effects of alergies? Hey I sneaze my head off every time I mow my lawn, I dont need some lable to tell my that! I think they just need to not drink the milk and leave it alone.
